Where am I now

Just got back home from the theater with Terry V. We saw Star Trek. This is one of those “blow you away” kind of movies, the kind in which everyone in the theater responds with “ooooh” “aaahhh” and so forth. bottom line….this movie was phenominal.
Oh and weight wise….i lost like 5 lbs. I’m not exactly at my weight, but i’m getting closer

20 lbs more

Darn….
you know as a wrestler, i was a slim muscular 145-152 lbs. I get on the scale today just for kicks and realize that i now weigh 171…Almost 20 lbs more!
Anyway now I know what I’ll be doing for the next few weeks.
my goal: to weigh 155 lbs in 4 weeks.
I can do it. I am a wrestler.

Peanut Blart-er and Jelly

Yes, I saw Mall Cop, I know some people did not like it, but I LOVED it. I went to see this movie last week with another guy from uturn. We left the theatre satisfied, and hungry for more. 

I really thought that the actor with the accent was an awesome asset, And I know Alyssa knows what I’m talking about when i say “Peanut Blarter and Jelly”

Can’t wait to see another!

Easter and the new Rancho Campus

From what I am hearing, the attendance last week was in the 300 range, which is awesome. The song that i had been practicing all week had turned out fine.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of having a service in the theatre. It was comfortable, and fun. I think that it’s something many people are looking for.

New Song

Terry Skiles being the awesome guy that he is, throws a new song out there every once in a while, that he thinks i should learn.

During the last knotts trip he threw a new one at me…again. I am not complaining, but after listening to it i found that this is a HARD song. I just can’t wait to play it live, because I’ve been listening to it ALL day.

Hanging with the family

So the last couple of days, my family took a trip up to LA for my grandpa’s B-day. It was nice to see him again.

This image is actually from our last Christmas together, but that’s my Grandpa, and you don’t see him being active like that very often.

Twilight

So I’ve been trying to avoid it, but last night I finally came to watching that vampire movie that my cousins, and my sis, Jessica keep talking about.

Twilight actually seems like an OK movie. I tried to look at it as if it were a superhero movie like Super Man, Iron Man, or Dare Devil, because in reality thats what it is. Good guys vs Bad guys, and the main character gets the girl.

All together it was a good movie, and I’m glad I finally saw it.

Changing locations

Well after some thought I’ve decided to move to wordpress. After all it is easier to use, I mean thats what we use for uturn’s website.

So I’ve been looking at the construction of the Sonic being built in Santee. Personally I’m a big fan of Sonics, and i think it’d be a good idea to check it out once it opens in April.

THE HOUSE IS MINE!

My parents are gunna love this one. They left for the weekwend to take a trip up to New York. 

While they freeze their buts off over here, i think maybe I’ll throw a couple of parties, stay up WAY late, and invite a group of friends over….. Maybe not the greatest idea.

My Dad emailed a picture to me the other day of my mom shivvering on a street corner. I am so glad I live in good old Cali.

New Project

It’s funny, Yesterday was Uturn’s 10th anniversary. It went Great, but there were a few difficulties in the sound booth.

My next assignment is to make a plasma loop video to play in the background. This should be fun considering its the first loop vid I am going to make.

Another cool thing that happened today was that an old Christian song was playing on one of my teacher’s ipods. I can’t say here who it was, but I thought it was really uplifting….”The Old Family Bible”…. That was my Great Grandpa’s Favorite song. It was nice to hear that again
